Nearly two decades later, it remains the one they talk about.
Its rich botanical blend does more than simply hydrate. Shea Butter, Ceramides, Buriti, Pomegranate, Aloe Vera and antioxidant-rich botanicals work together to replenish essential moisture and lipids, support the skin barrier and help protect against the environmental stress associated with premature visible aging. Skin is left deeply moisturized with the kind of lasting softness that doesn't disappear a few hours after application.
Shea brings sophisticated lipid nourishment and naturally occurring triterpenes, while Ceramides help reinforce the barrier responsible for keeping moisture in the skin. Carotenoid-rich Buriti provides powerful antioxidant protection, and Pomegranate brings rare Omega-5 alongside its skin-repair and visible-aging story. Together, they care for more than dryness, helping improve the appearance of rough texture, crepiness, fine dehydration lines and skin that has become less supple and resilient with time. The texture is intentionally rich and indulgent, melting beautifully into dry, thirsty skin. Why I Made It
The Signature Body Butter™ was there at the beginning of J21 in 2007. Before I ever became an esthetician, I knew I wanted to create body care that felt decadent enough to become a ritual and effective enough that you would actually finish the jar.
Nearly two decades—and thousands of faces—later, I still believe in what made the original so loved. I've brought everything I've learned about barrier health, skin aging, restorative lipids and antioxidant protection back to the product that started it all.
