HYALURONIC ACID
Sodium Hyaluronate

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present throughout the skin and has an extraordinary ability to bind and retain water. That makes it one of skincare’s most valuable ingredients for dehydration, tightness, fine dehydration lines and skin that has lost its fresh, plump appearance.
As we age, the amount and distribution of hyaluronic acid within the skin changes. Environmental exposure can affect it as well. When skin becomes dehydrated, the surface can look duller, rougher and more lined, even when those lines aren't necessarily true wrinkles.
Applied topically, Hyaluronic Acid acts as a powerful humectant, attracting and holding water within the upper layers of the skin. Increased hydration helps the surface look plumper, smoother and more supple, while temporarily softening the appearance of fine lines caused or emphasized by dehydration. What makes Hyaluronic Acid especially beautiful is how quickly you can often see and feel the difference. Well-hydrated skin reflects light differently. It looks fresher and more luminous, feels softer and has that naturally bouncy quality that dry, depleted skin can lose.
In HALO™, Sodium Hyaluronate provides the concentrated hydration component of the formula, working alongside N-Acetyl Glucosamine, Niacinamide and Panthenol to help keep skin hydrated, smooth, supple and luminous.
