CLOUDBERRY SEED OIL
Rubus Chamaemorus Seed Oil

Cloudberry is a rare golden berry that grows in the subarctic regions of Northern Europe and Scandinavia, surviving intense cold, long winters and an exceptionally short growing season. Its tiny seeds produce a precious oil rich in omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, vitamin E compounds, carotenoids and powerful antioxidant plant compounds—a particularly compelling profile for skin showing signs of aging.
Cloudberry Seed Oil is especially interesting for loss of elasticity, fine lines, dryness and dullness. Its omega-6 linoleic acid and omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid help replenish essential lipids within the skin's protective barrier. As skin becomes better moisturized and more supple, it can appear smoother, plumper and more flexible, helping soften the dry, crepey appearance that can become more noticeable with age.
Its antioxidant content adds an important anti-aging dimension. Oxidative stress contributes to the breakdown of collagen and elastin, the structural proteins responsible for skin's firmness and elasticity. Cloudberry's naturally occurring vitamin E, carotenoids and other antioxidant compounds help defend against that oxidative damage, making it particularly valuable for skin experiencing loss of firmness, reduced elasticity and premature visible aging.
For mature, dry or environmentally stressed skin, Cloudberry helps restore the qualities that can gradually disappear with age: bounce, suppleness, smoothness and luminosity. Skin can feel more cushioned and deeply conditioned, while fine dryness lines and rough texture appear softened and the complexion looks smoother, more resilient and more youthful.
There is something especially fitting about Cloudberry in a restorative facial oil. This resilient Arctic berry concentrates protective lipids and antioxidants while surviving one of the world's most demanding climates. In AFTERGLOW™, those same compounds help protect and replenish skin that is beginning to show the effects of time, dryness and environmental stress.
